Hello! I am an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto pursuing the degree of Computer Science Specialist and Statistics Major.
My CV can be found here and you can e-mail me at: camilla.xue@mail.utoronto.ca.
I worked as a software engineer intern in Quanta Technology from May, 2024 to August, 2025. I contributed as a full-stack developer in an Agile environment to develop a finite-state-control workflow portal, significantly reducing manual overhead and improving client operation accuracy.
I worked as a research assitant supervised by Niv Dayan on the project minimal perfect hashing on RocksDB. I designed, implemented, and benchmarked a minimal perfect hash index integrated within the SST data-block write and read pipelines to optimize index lookups and enhance read throughput.
In my spare time, I like baking and hitting the gym. I was raised in GuangZhou and a huge fan of Cantonese cuisine. I graduated as a valedictorian for the Class of 2021 from GUIS. I passed JPLT (Japanese Proficiency Language Test) and received a certificate of N2 with a full mark on Listening. From CAIE, I won the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award by achieving Top in China for Accounting.
